The boot features a fully waterproof construction with sealed seams. A robust nubuck leather upper meets a hand‑crafted vulcanized rubber shell to block slush and moisture. Inside, a removable 9 mm ThermoPlus felt inner boot traps heat when temperatures drop, finished with a soft sherpa‑pile snow collar that helps keep snow out of the shaft. A 2.5 mm frost plug in the midsole adds insulation against ground chill.
