The boot features a fully waterproof, seam-sealed construction. A waterproof nubuck leather upper pairs with a hand-crafted, vulcanized rubber lower shell to keep out moisture and slush. Inside, a removable and washable 9 mm recycled felt liner provides effective insulation, while the Sherpa Pile snow cuff helps keep snow from getting in.

Underfoot, the Sorel AeroTrac outsole offers secure grip and is designed not to pack with snow. A 2.5 mm felt frost plug adds insulation against ground chill, delivering comfort down to around -40°C.
