8848 Altitude Essener is a sporty ski jacket built for long, high‑tempo days on the mountain. It delivers reliable warmth and freedom of movement for piste laps and training sessions, and when the temperature drops it pairs perfectly with a warm mid‑layer.

The jacket uses a hybrid construction that combines smooth 4‑way stretch with seamless Ultra Sonic quilting insulated with Primaloft® Silver Eco Thermo Plume for light, efficient warmth with a down‑like feel. The outer fabric offers solid weather protection with a 10,000 mm water column and 8,000 g/m²/24h breathability, backed by waterproof YKK zippers and a PFC‑free water‑repellent finish.

Practical ski features include a detachable, adjustable hood, a fleece‑lined collar, and a fixed snow skirt to keep snow out. Underarm ventilation zips let you fine‑tune your temperature. Storage is well thought out with two waist pockets, a dedicated pass pocket on the sleeve, and two inner pockets. The cuffs are adjustable with zippers for a secure seal over gloves.
