Skaljacka Montec Doom Herr XL

Montec Doom is a technical shell jacket built for skiing and snowboarding, just as capable on stormy resort days as it is on backcountry tours.

It blends an anorak-inspired look with an asymmetrical, full-length front zipper for easy on/off and quick venting. A 20,000 mm waterproof and 20,000 g/m² breathable membrane, fully taped seams, and a PFC-free water-repellent finish keep snow and wet weather out while letting excess heat escape.

The storm hood adjusts to fit over a helmet, and underarm zip vents open wide when you’re working hard. Lycra wrist gaiters with thumbholes seal the sleeves, and you get a dedicated pass pocket on the sleeve along with several roomy pockets for essentials. As an unlined shell, it’s made for layering—pair it with a warm mid-layer when the temperature drops.
