Scarpa Gea RS is a powerful touring boot built for skiers who want top-tier downhill performance without compromising on the ascent. It thrives on long ski tours, steep spring lines, and freeride days when precise control really matters.

The shell combines Grilamid with carbon‑reinforced Grilamid LFT to keep weight low while delivering high torsional stiffness and efficient power transfer. A flex around 120 provides confident support at speed, and a 101–102 mm last strikes a smart balance between control and comfort.

On the climb, the walk mode offers about 60° of range of motion for a natural stride, and the dependable Speed Lock Plus/XT ski/walk mechanism is easy to operate and rock‑solid when locked for skiing.

Wave Closure System spreads pressure evenly across the foot with a single buckle. The heat‑moldable Intuition liner can be customized for a personal fit, and an HRS strap secures the heel for stability. Underfoot, the Vibram Cayman PRO sole (ISO 9523) delivers trustworthy grip on icy and rocky terrain.
