Inov‑8 Race Ultra 270 is a lightweight, responsive trail shoe built for long days in the forest and mountains. With a 4 mm drop and a low, ground-hugging profile, it delivers precise control and a natural ride even as the distance gets long. Weighing approximately 270 g with about 17 mm in the heel and 13 mm in the forefoot, it’s a neutral shoe with Inov‑8’s Standard Fit and a roomier toe box that lets your foot splay and work comfortably over ultra distances.

The breathable mesh upper vents heat as the pace rises. Underfoot, an EVA midsole provides consistent cushioning, while the Meta‑Shank III shields the forefoot from sharp rocks without sacrificing flexibility. A flatter outsole with around 4 mm lugs adds stability and secure grip on varied terrain, and attachment points for Race Ultra gaiters help keep grit and debris out.
