The GORE-TEX membrane provides waterproof, windproof, breathable protection, while down insulation delivers dependable warmth without the heavy feel. A hood with a fur trim offers extra shelter when the wind bites, and the longer fit adds coverage. Up front, a full-length zipper with a storm flap helps seal out the elements, ribbed inner cuffs block drafts, and there are several easy-access pockets, including zippered chest pockets and hand pockets. The hem can be cinched to keep warmth in and weather out.
