Patagonia Down Sweater is a lightweight, warm down jacket that’s just as at home in everyday use as it is on the hiking trail. It works great as an outer layer in dry weather, or as an insulating mid-layer under a shell when the temperature drops.

The jacket is filled with around 800 fill power down for a high warmth-to-weight ratio. A durable ripstop shell with a water-repellent finish sheds light precipitation and wind, while the horizontal quilting keeps the down in place for even warmth. You get two zippered handwarmer pockets and a chest pocket that doubles as a stuff sack, so it compresses easily when you’re on the move. Elastic cuffs and a drawcord hem help seal out drafts.
