Mountain Hardwear Ghost Whisperer 2 Hoody is an ultralight down jacket made for fast missions on the trail, long hikes, and technical climbs. It delivers outstanding warmth for its weight and works just as well as a mid-layer under a shell when it’s cold, or as a streamlined outer layer in cool, dry conditions.

The shell is a thin yet durable Whisperer 10D x 10D ripstop treated with a DWR finish to shed light moisture. Inside, RDS-certified 800 fill power goose down provides lofty warmth and excellent packability. A smart detail is the synthetic insulation in the outermost cuff baffle, which handles moisture better in a high-wear area. It features two zip hand pockets, packs into its own pocket for compact carry, and uses elastic binding at the hood and cuffs to help seal in heat. The hem adjusts with a drawcord for a secure fit.
