Under Armour

Under Armour was founded in 1996 by Kevin Plank , who had been captain of the University of Maryland's American football team the previous year. During his time as an American football player, he noticed that his T-shirt always got wet and heavy with sweat, but his compression shorts stayed dry. That's when the idea was born.
