The American brand was founded in California by a small group of outdoor enthusiasts back in 1993. They saw the industry changing, compromising on quality and producing inferior down products for less technical practitioners and therefore wanted to do something to better meet the needs of people who like to be outdoors. The goal was to develop and produce products of the highest possible quality.
