Henry Lloyd

Henri LLoyd was created by Henri Strzelecki, a Polish soldier during World War II. who settled in Manchester after the war. As a keen sailor in the 1960s, Henri recognised the potential of a local nylon material called Bri-Nylon. Henri Strzelecki was the first to use technical materials in sailors' clothing. Innovative ideas that Henri pioneered included zippers made of nylon and one of the first producers to use Goretex in jackets.
